Counselling in Maidenhead & Online

Initial Consultation

Before we start working together, I offer a free 15-minute phone call where we can have a chat about what's going on for you. This gives you a chance to get a feel for how I work and see if we feel like a good fit. There's no pressure - just an opportunity to ask any questions and talk about what you're looking for.

How I Work

I offer counselling sessions online via Zoom or by phone, giving you the flexibility to talk from wherever feels most comfortable - at home, on a walk, or even from your car during a lunch break.

Sessions last 50 minutes, and are usually agreed on a weekly, open-ended basis until you decide that you are ready to finish. Some people may need more flexibility around work or family commitments and together we can figure out what suits you best.

You don't need to commit to a certain number of sessions upfront. Some people find a few conversations helpful, others require longer-term support. We can review how things are going as we go along.

My Approach

I practice Person-Centred counselling, which means I believe you're the best person to understand your own life and what you need. Building a safe, trusting relationship is key to our work together. I'm not going to tell you what to do or try to analyse you. Instead, I'll listen with care and curiosity and help you explore what's really going on.

Our sessions are led by whatever feels most important to you on any given day. Sometimes that might be a specific problem you're facing, other times it could be feelings that don't seem to make sense, or patterns you've noticed in your life.

I won't judge you for anything you tell me. My job is to understand your world from your perspective and offer you space to think things through without someone else's agenda getting in the way. We will work together at your pace to figure things out.
